Cleats with brushes
The handling of textile products requires special care. Sensitive fabrics must be transported and fed to the individual work steps gently but nevertheless with precise timing. Cleats fitted with brushes are particularly suitable for this purpose. Bristles made of several different materials, such as PA6, PP and PES, are available. The height of the bristles and the distance between the cams can be individually adapted to the transported material. Usually, custom-made cleats are used to ensure an optimal result. As the cams are welded directly to the back of the timing belt, both tooth-synchronous and non-tooth-synchronous cleats pitches can be realized. Due to their very good bending properties, timing belts fitted with bristles can be easily guided around small deflection radii.
Interchangeable cleats
In some cases, being able to replace cams quickly offers certain advantages. Especially in the textile industry, it must be possible to react flexibly to changing trends, which requires adjustments to the production line. For this purpose, we can supply several different interchangeable cam systems. Bolted cams, for example, can be screwed onto the belt by means of embedded parallel keys or insertion rails.
