V-ribbed belts
V-ribbed belts, also known as poly-V belts due to their characteristic cross-section, are excellently suited for the transmission of large forces. Thanks to their flat design, they can also be bent around smaller radii without any problems. V-ribbed belts are characterized by very smooth and precise running properties and can be used for high speeds.
For these reasons, V-ribbed belts are often used as haul-off belts, as enormous tensile and contact forces occur here. In addition, the high tracking accuracy of the belts contributes to the dimensional precision of the hauled-off material.
Our V-ribbed belts are made of neoprene or PU base materials and are manufactured endless. They are available with PJ (pitch 2.34 mm), PK (pitch 3.56 mm), PL (pitch 4.7 mm) and PM (pitch 9.4 mm) profiles. The width of the belt can be individually cut to size, with a possible number of ribs ranging from 2 to 75.
Depending on the conditions of use, these basic belts can be further refined. For instance, wear and temperature resistant coatings or grooves and special back profiles are possible.
