Special Belts & Refinement
Belt refinement creates from a basic belt an individually adapted special belt with unique properties and functions.

Coatings
Depending on the material of the base belt, coatings can either be welded, vulcanized or bonded on. They are available in various degrees of hardness and materials and enhance certain properties of the belt, such as temperature resistance, chemical resistance or grip properties.
Cleats
In order to ensure form-fit transport of bulk materials, piece goods or small parts, we equip our timing belts with cams that are either welded directly onto the back of the belt or screwed on using an interchangeable cam system. Usually, the cams are made of PU and their shape is exactly adapted to the respective goods to be transported.
Our assortment includes more than 500 different cams. We are pleased to manufacture further customer-specific cleats according to your specifications.
Belt connections
If a belt is damaged and has to be replaced, it is often necessary to disassemble a part of the plant first in order to install a new endless belt. A simpler and faster replacement is made possible by belt connections. Here, the open belt is installed in the machine and the two ends are not joined until there to form a closed ring.
Although subsequently joined belts achieve only part of the tensile strength of endless belts and should therefore not be used for power transmission, they do offer uncomplicated installation and a significant reduction in repair times.
Belt ends can basically be joined in two different ways: By fusion joint welding and by mechanical splicing.
FoodGuard
Our FoodGuard belts destined for the food industry are certified according to EU and FDA specifications. Closed side edges and the absence of winding noses prevent dirt accumulation in places that are difficult to access. For optimal traction with the transported goods, the backs of the belts can be equipped with spikes, lamellas, nubs and many more profiles
